We went in yesterday for the "First Trimester Screening" in which they can check for specific abnormalities. The test results won't be in for a week, but the Doctor said everything looked fine. Honestly, I don't really care about the test results I just wanted to see our little baby. Little arms and legs were very active and we got a good amount of shots because the baby wasn't in the right position for a while. Below are the best ones, the second one you may notice the baby's hand is blocking the face. The ultrasound tech was poking my belly to get the baby in the right position, and the little guy (or girl) put up a hand to block her! It's was amazing. This is all amazing. I can't even imagine what it's going to feel like to feel a little baby moving inside, but I am so excited it will start to happen very soon!

Tomorrow I will be 13 weeks, according to this latest visit. Initially the doctor in Florida gave me a due date of Feb 1st, but now they bumped it back to Feb 2nd. Groundhogs Day! I know due dates are just estimates and babies like to come early and late, but Groundhogs Day would be fun. Unless if happened over and over....

The Blueberry of Life

It's a mouth full, but Paul has started to call our little baby the Blueberry of Life. Last week the baby was the size of a blueberry, thus the nickname. This week the blueberry grew to a raspberry, but blueberry is cuter. Today we went in for the first baby visit and were able to see the little blueberry inside. The heartbeat was perfectly strong and the doctor said I am the perfect person to get pregnant (meaning I'm healthy and at a great age).

For those of you who are in shock and confusion cause we've always been so against having children, we changed our minds. And not completely, I don't think either of us are excited about baby poo, or baby vomit, or baby wake up calls. I don't think people that ARE excited about these things should be allowed to have children as they are insane.

We are both very excited to become parents. I am most looking forward to the toddler years when they become little people that still need lots of help but can actually communicate with you(unless it's nap time). I think Paul is most looking forward to teaching the little one how to fly. Hopefully that's a few years off.

Thank you for visiting our little baby site. Please vote your opinion in the baby names polls on the right, and feel free to leave any comments in the guestbook.
